đź’Ś A Letter from Elizabeth McCoy

If you’ve ever looked successful on paper but still felt like you were running on fumes, I see you. I was you.

Hey sis,
When I first felt burnout, I didn’t even have a word for it. I thought it was just part of the price you pay for being ambitious. The late nights. The constant striving. The pressure to keep it all together no matter what it costs.
And from the outside, it looked like I was thriving.
I had finished my master’s in record time. I was promoted at work. My side business was growing fast, and I was earning as much from it as my full-time job. Everything looked right. But inside, I was exhausted.
I was producing but not present. Smiling but silently falling apart. I kept telling myself that once I “made it,” peace would finally find me. But one morning, I realized I was paying for success with my sanity.
That’s when I stopped. That’s when I gave my government job a 48-hour notice — which I didn’t even finish. It wasn’t polished or planned. It was a survival emergency to save me.
I took two weeks off before stepping into my next career, and honestly, I barely moved. I breathed. I slept. I let silence hold me. No hustling. No overthinking. No back-and-forth negotiations with myself.
And somewhere in that stillness, something inside me started to heal.
When I finally began working again, I built a business that didn’t drain me — and it doubled what I was making in my government role. But more than that, I built a life that didn’t cost me my peace.
That’s how Luxury Recharge Collective came to life.
It’s for the women who’ve done everything right — the degrees, the promotions, the side hustles — and are still tired. The ones who love their ambition but want it to feel softer, safer, sustainable.
Here, we don’t glorify the grind. We protect our peace. We learn to lead from rest and rise through rhythm. We remember that softness isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom.
If you’re tired of holding it all together, come rest for a while. You don’t have to earn your exhale. You just have to remember you deserve one.
Be Good To Yourself,
Elizabeth McCoy
